Rubber seal on the lid still work great, it’s not totally leak proof, it does splash a little out of the hole by the slider on top of the lid when it is full, but that isn’t a big deal since most cups do the same or worse. I have dropped it a couple times (see photos of minor scuffs), but where it landed it did not dent anything or chip the finish, it fits in all the cup holders of all the trucks and cars I have driven in so all in all I really do not have any complaints about the hydro flask, and I really like the color which I got indigo blue. I hope this helps with your decision, and just try not to be too picky, I have tried my different brands and types over the last 30 years and this one is so far my favorite and I am looking at getting the 20oz to see if it fits my hands better and if I can get away with less coffee in the morning.”
