Customer Review: I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I felt like this product deserved one. This is an excellent cold brew maker. It is very easy to use and has a great 1,200 mL capacity. The plastic construction is more versatile (less fragile) than other brewers made from glass. The filtration system eliminates the sludge that other brew systems leave. The packaging is very thoughtful – a scoop and sponge are included. The scoop is easily overlooked, but it is the perfect size to clean the used grounds out of the filter. The sponge is an unexpectedly useful form factor to help with cleaning. Hopefully the sponges can be ordered separately, since sponges don’t last forever.Some minor downsides:Cleaning is moderately easy, but the only component that is recommended for the dishwasher is the pitcher (which is also easiest to clean by hand). All of the other elements are recommended for hand washing, which doesn’t take long.The way the filter is configured, the pitcher will work most effectively if stored (at least for part of the brew cycle) on its side. However, there is a vent in the lid that is prone to leaking when the pitcher is stored on its side. Brewing upright can lead to the top grounds not getting exposed to water.Unfortunately, one of the pieces broke during routine use after a couple of months: the pitcher lid is attached with a couple of hinges that snap the lid into place on the pitcher. One of the hinge attachments broke. I contacted customer service and a replacement pitcher arrived four days later. I’d recommend being careful with these hinge attachments as they seem prone to break. At the same time, the customer service is very responsive and suggests that they take support of their products seriously.

Customer Review: I’ve tried making cold brew a couple different ways, most recently with Ball jars and a metal filter. This Maestri brewer does a better job than other methods I’ve tried. No coffee ground sludge in the bottom, easy to clean grounds out of the filter, and easy to pour liquid out of the pitcher without removing the filter / grounds. The brew is pretty strong and tastes great. I have found that sometimes air gets trapped in the pitcher when I’m filling it, and that can effect the brewing slightly. When this happens, the coffee grounds don’t seem to get fully saturated right away, so the brewing time takes longer. 24 hours of brew time seems to be the sweet spot for my taste preference, which is strong.

I kinda wish it was glass instead of plastic, but at least if I drop this it isn’t going to shatter on my feet.Drawbacks? If I’m being hyper-nitpicky, the way that the filter threads into the lid is kinda tricky. I usually have to try two or three times to get the threads lined up right.Can’t recommend this enough. Customer Review: 5/12/25: UPDATE: The pot works fine. One thing drive me to using bad words. I said this before, but it is an irritant. They attached the handle to the lid. Plastic lids are hard enough to use on glass jar. Having a handle in the way so that you have to remove you hand with each turn is frustrating. Fir someone new to what cold coffee brew represents, this is a good starter pot, or I frequently used pot.The instruction page presented a problem. Simple answer: go online and get detailed instructions on just how to make cold coffee. Now, the simple instructions manuel is a fine reminder.Packaging handled the trip thru shipping very well. It is glass. It was double packed.There were many choices of cold brewing containers. Considering the cleaning process I go thru with my automatic tea pot, I opted for simple. Simple is very easy to clean with no over-engineered top to take apart to clean. Small enough for refrigerator or counter.The gaskets didn’t look sturdy to me, but after use and washing, I think they will be just fine. It’s hard for the plastic lid to screw on and off because of the handle, but I succeed. I use a standard tube sponge to clean the filter. Works better.

Customer Review: I didn’t know how much I needed one of these cold brew containers in my life 🤣 makes my mornings so much more enjoyable and hassle free, I just grab this from the fridge, pour, add my creamer !The way it’s designed the quality of the coffee comes out tasting more than bold and delicious ! You just press the filter down and when you pour it ensures you don’t get grounds in your cup. Extremely durable and leak proof, I tested the theory just to make sure I don’t get any surprises when handling it, the lid locks in place so by turning it so when you pour it doesn’t leak or fall off. Very compact but enough volume to have coffee saved up for days if you use an average 12oz cup ! Extremely well worth it.

It gets the job done, and the dual stainless steel filter is perfectly engineered to remove sediment from the brew.Pros:- Carafes are compact- Stainless steel filter leaves no residue in the coffee- Spout pours without dripping coffee down the side- Brews strong concentrate so I can make a proper iced latte- Easy to clean in the dishwasher- Relatively decent cost for the kit ($50)- Easy to follow marks on the filter and carafeCons:- Carafes are fragile: I purchased 32oz Mason Jar Neoprene Sleeves to protect the glass, which fit perfectly! (see photos)- Top plastic lid is not very secure. I’ve accidentally spun off the lid while picking it up multiple times. It would be nice if the lids had a better seal to prevent this.- I wish there were a better seal between the silicone spout and the plastic lid so coffee doesn’t leak if tipped.- Silicone pour spout is quite flimsy, and I’m worried it won’t hold up very long.

This is a great way to make cold brew coffee with absolutely no residue.Put the ground coffee into the carafe with the filter, fill with cold water up to the MAX line on the carafe. Put the cover on and stick in in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours. When you are ready to drink the coffee the fine mesh filter lifts outeasily. Rinse it out and put it in the other carafe, fill with ground coffee and water etc. So there is always fresh cold brew in one carafe while the next batch is cold brewing in the refrigerator in the second carafe. Easy and economical.

Customer Review: Update: $15.60 is the least I have ever seen these go for. Just bought a third for the house :-)We have had our Adventure Press for 8 months now. It has performed flawlessly and makes great coffee (we like it strong!). It takes about 7 minutes from boiling of the water (we use an induction plate at home and in RV) to coffee: boil water, place three heaping coffee scoops of pre-ground dark roast from Trader Joe’s – YUM, stir till all grounds are wet and you see the crema, cover and set timer for 4 minutes and press. Voila. Enough to make two Yeti 14 oz mugs of coffee! Delicious!I have a brush I use to brush the grounds from the bottom of the press and a stiff silicone spatula to scoop out the grounds in bottom of pot. Easy to make another pot if we want more or make less by splitting 14 oz between us.We LOVE it for our RV as coffee grounds are my nemesis. Everything we have used gets grounds everywhere and I don’t want them in my RV tank. I have perfected almost zero grounds with the above method.We have talked about getting another one for the house as I keep bringing it in for coffee at home! Well made, light, durable, and I think of myself as somewhat of a coffee snob (other than I don’t grind my own beans……yet!)For the price, get 1 or 2!!!!

It’s part of the Coffee experience but I noticed this Coffeepress on Amazon and I was curious to try one out.Plusses:- It’s compact, well-made and feels good in your hand, like a good product; Heavy and well-machined.- You can press excess water out of the thing while not getting grounds in your cup.- There’s no way grounds can get through the fine filter holes.- You can stir it like a spoon full of delicious.- Both ends of the press screw off so you can press out the old coffee grounds into the bin when done.- The plunger screws down, holding the pressed grounds at the bottom. Not sure why that feature is there but it’s a nice addition to functionality.Cons:- The coffee looks cloudy, more so than with my french press. Not a big deal but curious.- The grounds don’t have much room to float around making good coffee but that’s probably in my head.Takewaways:- Much like the many ways we can brew good tea, this is another way to brew coffee.- It’s a well-made device that feels like a good-quality.- It makes coffee well, letting the grounds float around in the container to brew.Overall, I’m happy with it.I tend to use different ways to make coffee after years of refillable Keurig containers in a machine that was fooling me into thinking I was having good coffee.Keurig machines don’t properly brew coffee because the water is only on the grounds for a second or two while a good cup of coffee should brew for 3-5 minutes based on your preferences.If you use a Keurig machine, you’ll be surprised how much better your coffee tastes when properly brewed.

Customer Review: I have several OXO products and they are typically well-made, effective at what they are designed to do and very easy to use. Have to admit that at this point, if I need a kitchen gadget, I’ll almost always default to the OXO product, if I have an option.I’ve been making cold brew for a couple of years now, using a 64 ounce mason jar and that method works well, though it has some issues. I’d been eyeing this cold brew coffee maker for a while and when I saw it on sale, I went for it.After only one time using it, I can already say it’s worth the purchase. Very easy to set up and use. Very well-designed, as is typical with OXO products. Very easy to clean, which was always a pain with the mason jar and its relatively narrow mouth. And the coffee tastes great!The best part is eliminating the filtering process that usually took a good 15 minutes or so with my old method. With this maker, I just flip the switch, go away and turn on my computer and in 10 minutes I come back to a carafe full of tasty coffee. No more struggling with the dumping of the liquid through the filter, while trying to avoid splattering huge chunks of wet grounds all over the kitchen counter.I’d noticed that my acid reflux was definitely not as active and pronounced when I drank cold brew coffee rather than hot coffee and I’m pretty much sold on moving forward with cold brew from this point on.
