Customer Review: “This is the French press. I used the regular ones with the mesh screen filter, they work OK. Then tried the ESPRO, the dual screen and silicone seal make your coffee 100% better, by simply preventing the fine grounds from getting into your drink. French press taste, none of the grit. It looks great, easy to clean, easy to use. I use a scale to weigh the water and grounds. There is a line inside the glass to show the fill height, there is a small arrow on the lid to align the pouring screen window. I no longer use my Mochamaster drip coffee maker. If ESPRO came out with an updated model for 2026, and the handle was improved a bit less flimsy, and the lid orientation arrow was a bit easier to see, I’d buy a new one! Be careful with the glass in the dishwasher it’s fragile!!”

Customer Review: “UPDATE:. Oh, I’m loving this French press! I bought a metal mesh sieve (set of 3, actually), which makes the cleanup so much easier. You can buy them here on Amazon, but I don’t think they appreciate adding links to purchases. Actually, THEY really should add mesh sieves to the bottom of the screen as “bought together”…or maybe the seller can add a metal mesh sieve to the set! So, I simply allow the glass to cool a bit before putting warm water in the grounds, swishing the water around to catch all the grounds, and pouring them into the sieve. It really helps if you have a “shower” type of spray nozzle on your spigot. This prevents the water from splashing all over the sink. So I rinse as many times as I can to remove the grinds; usually not more than three times. NEVER add cold water to hot glass. This can cause the fragile glass to crack. I empty the strained grinds into the trash. Then I use the spray nozzle to spray the few loose grinds off the sieve and plunger. I fill the carafe 3/4 full with clean warm water, then add a bit of detergent to the water in the carafe, then pump the plunger up and down in the water to clean the glass and plunger at the same time. To empty the carafe, I pour the detergent water over the sieve to clean that, and use the spray spigot to rinse the soapy dishes. I rinse everything with hot water, again using the spray nozzle, then set everything in the empty dishwasher to drain. I have a top rack for small dishes, but you may need to drain the small items on a towel on your counter. I also discovered that the glass does slide out of the metal holder. I was pulling up on the plunger one day when I discovered the glass pulling away from the metal. I don’t know if it was originally glued in, but this certainly makes it much easier to clean. I was noticing coffee grinds between the glass and metal, which was very annoying. I’m so glad it can be removed to clean. But I do have to make sure it doesn’t slide out of the metal casing when I pour or pull out the plunger. Since everything is much easier to clean now, I make all my coffee in the FP. I also noticed a difference in the taste, and it is not my imagination. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to drip! There are a few negative reviews, mainly about cracking. But as long as you DO NOT ADD COLD WATER TO THE HEATED GLASS, you shouldn’t have cracks. I’m considering buying a second FP just in case this one breaks. This is well worth the purchase.”

Customer Review: “Update: $15.60 is the least I have ever seen these go for. Just bought a third for the house :-)We have had our Adventure Press for 8 months now. It has performed flawlessly and makes great coffee (we like it strong!). It takes about 7 minutes from boiling of the water (we use an induction plate at home and in RV) to coffee: boil water, place three heaping coffee scoops of pre-ground dark roast from Trader Joe’s – YUM, stir till all grounds are wet and you see the crema, cover and set timer for 4 minutes and press. Voila. Enough to make two Yeti 14 oz mugs of coffee! Delicious! I have a brush I use to brush the grounds from the bottom of the press and a stiff silicone spatula to scoop out the grounds in bottom of pot. Easy to make another pot if we want more or make less by splitting 14 oz between us. We LOVE it for our RV as coffee grounds are my nemesis. Everything we have used gets grounds everywhere and I don’t want them in my RV tank. I have perfected almost zero grounds with the above method. We have talked about getting another one for the house as I keep bringing it in for coffee at home! Well made, light, durable, and I think of myself as somewhat of a coffee snob (other than I don’t grind my own beans……yet!)For the price, get 1 or 2!!!!”
