Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “This works great for me. I like the idea of the central filter. Not sure that’s necessary but it does work well. Simple and easy to use design.I make decaf concentrate because it’s hard to find ready made. I get a high quality, medium-course ground bean. I found soaking around 20 hours gives me the level of flavor I want and not bitter (though quality of beans makes a difference here). I remove the filter core and leave the concentrate in the pitcher and refrigerate. It is less expensive than buying concentrate or coffee shop drink (if you can even find decaf coldbrew) but I wouldn’t say it’s cheap either. The amount of grounds you have to use is more than typical brewing. The amount of concentrate you use will depend on your preference and type of beverage so determining value or cost effectiveness is subjective.I found that making 1 pitcher a week during the summer was just the right amount to treat myself. The pitcher is not big and yet almost too tall for the bottom shelf and doesn’t fit in the door pockets of my fridge. If it was a little shorter and slightly bigger around would be better. I usually just rinsed everything well between brews. The filter is trickier to clean because of its shape but not terrible. I found that if i knock most of the used grounds out and let the remaining dry out it’s a little easier to manage. The filter hasn’t become clogged so far but vinegar and warm soapy water would probably be sufficient. Time will tell if the plastic parts all hold up. The pitcher is that rigid style with no flexibility so could be prone to cracking.I recommend this if you enjoy coldbrew, don’t want to leave home to get it, and want a simple way to soak the grounds.Cheers!”
Customer Review: “This cold brew pitcher set will brew about a quart ()4 cups) of cold brewed coffee, which is loosely similar to making coffee with a French press to make coffee, but instead of using freshly boiled water to extract regular strength coffee from the ground beans in 3-5 minutes, this set produces a strong concentrated coffee over 12-24 hours (depending on how strong a concentrate you want) using room temperature water to slowly extract the coffee from the ground beans. Both methods use coarse to regular ground coffee and it’s highly recommended you use filtered water for both methods because like the quality of the beans and skill of the roasters, it greatly affects the taste of the resulting coffee. The main draw of cold brewed coffee is the smooth flavor the process produces. Even those who seem to only tolerate coffee as a means to wake up or gain extra energy or endurance, For those who drink coffee as a base for other flavors, like vanilla, caramel, etc, tend to love unadorned cold brew. If you like coffee but wish it had a smoother taste, cold brew will likely be the answer. Everything about cold brewed coffee seems to be designed for the utmost convenience: It doesn’t require electricity, so it can be used when traveling or camping, it produces a rich, smooth coffee concentrate that is intended to store in the fridge for several days or a thermos for several hours, and the process uses room temperature water, so there’s no need to have a way to boil water. This particular set is compact, with all of the hardware you need to make and drink your coffee, including a reusable filtering system to produce the strongest, purest coffee. The set includes the picture, a tight fitting lid, a coffee scoop, a cup to hold the dripping filter after the brewing is complete, a filter in the form of a slim cylinder that locks into the lid so that it sits in the center of the pitcher. The filter has a top that fits flush into the top of it. You make a full pitcher of the cold brew by pouring about 4 cups of room temperature, filtered water into the pitcher (there is a maximum fill line printed on the pitcher). Pour 9 scoops of course to medium ground coffee into the filter (the scoop holds 2 tablespoons, so 9 scoops is 1&1/8 cups of coffee.), insert the filter top (which is alto a filter), and then attach the filter to the underside of the lid. This ensures that it stays stationary in the pitcher when it’s full of water. Insert the filter into the pitcher full of water, orienting it so the spout lines up. Set the pitcher out at room temperature for 12-24 hours, depending on how strong you want it to be. I like very strong coffee because I like to nmake iced lattes, which means diluting the coffee with milk, a little cream, and a flavored syrup. I experimented with leaving the cold brew on the counter for 36 hours and it was too strong, even for my milkiest lattes. I decant my cold brew into large thermoses so I can constantly have the cold brew on hand. This already promises to be a hot spring and summer, so this pitcher will get a lot of use. I always hand was everything after I decant the new batch of brew simply because it only takes minutes. However, I believe it’s all dishwasher safe though I’d put the filter on the top rack. I have two more suggestions: investigate local coffee roasters. The absolute best coffee I’ve ever had is from a local brewer. My favorite independent coffee house sells it. It’s a bit pricier than the premium coffees in grocery stores but this is one thing I refuse to go low quality on. I’d rather drink less coffee than pay good money for subpar coffee, Fun fact: The coffee from France is some of the WORST in the world! It’s always been believed to be some of te best, even having a type of roast named after it but this fallacy is likely the result of actual fiction, namely literature and movies. A French prime minister famously said French coffee was donkey pi**! Allegedly, the reason a notoriously proud people put up with such a disgrace is, again allegedly, because the national industry is controlled by a mafia group that no one dares to challenge. Some believe the government is equally afraid of this group while others believe they’re simply well paid to look the other way. Sadly as an American, I can see either reason being equally true. The French citizens usually get their coffee from neighboring Italy or have it shipped in from Africa. Speaking of Italy, if you don’t have a local roaster, try Illy from Italy. Totally worth it. You can get it in most stores now. Some swear by the in store Dunkin Donuts brand of coffee. Second tip: Make/decant your own flavored syrups. Save your wine bottles, make simple syrup, and then add the extract of your choice: vanilla, almond, coconut, rum, then decant (you can purchase packages of pouring spouts online or find them in kitchen stores. You can even make a liquid caramel to use as a syrup. You can find the techniques for everything online. They’re all dead simple! Cheers!”

Customer Review: “5/12/25: UPDATE: The pot works fine. One thing drive me to using bad words. I said this before, but it is an irritant. They attached the handle to the lid. Plastic lids are hard enough to use on glass jar. Having a handle in the way so that you have to remove you hand with each turn is frustrating. Fir someone new to what cold coffee brew represents, this is a good starter pot, or I frequently used pot.The instruction page presented a problem. Simple answer: go online and get detailed instructions on just how to make cold coffee. Now, the simple instructions manuel is a fine reminder.Packaging handled the trip thru shipping very well. It is glass. It was double packed. There were many choices of cold brewing containers. Considering the cleaning process I go thru with my automatic tea pot, I opted for simple. Simple is very easy to clean with no over-engineered top to take apart to clean. Small enough for refrigerator or counter. The gaskets didn’t look sturdy to me, but after use and washing, I think they will be just fine. It’s hard for the plastic lid to screw on and off because of the handle, but I succeed. I use a standard tube sponge to clean the filter. Works better.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “I’ve been using this cold brew carafe for a while now, and I’m never looking back! When I got rid of my old coffee maker that had seen better days, I didn’t want to buy another one right away. Instead, I wanted to look at my options. So for a while, I then started buying bottled cold brew from the store. However, the taste wasn’t as good as I’d have liked, and for the price I couldn’t justify buying more than 1 bottle (which meant I ran out of coffee mid-week.) Then my partner suggested I start making my own cold brew, which led me to this product. It was very important to me to find one made out of glass rather than plastic, and this fits the bill. It’s a good, thick, sturdy glass without being too heavy. This is really easy to use, too: fill it up with water, grind your beans, add them to the filter, screw everything on, shake it up, let it sit. I personally let it sit at room temp for 12-24 hours and then I transfer it to the fridge. I drink one large (16 oz) mug a day, and this lasts me around 4 days. I now have delicious, smooth, fresh coffee all week! This is also fairly easy to clean, with the exception of the filter. For the filter, I do find that it’s hard to get the wet grounds out (the stick like no other) so I end up letting it dry out for a day and then scrape them out. You’ll definitely need a bottle brush to properly clean inside the filter when you do dishes. However, that’s a small price to pay! This cold brew maker has already paid for itself over and over. If you like iced coffee, this is even better because it doesn’t water it down! I’d definitely recommend this to anyone.”
Customer Review: “I love this cold brew coffee maker. It’s the perfect size for my fridge. If it was any taller, it won’t fit the fridge shelf. It’s great for making coffee and tea. It’s easy to use. You twist the top to pour the liquid. I’m happy this one was not made out of plastic. It’s durable and made out of glass, except for the lid/handle. I use it every day. It’s very easy to clean and doesn’t not leak.”

Itt has its own taste wich is very mild and smooth or flavorless depending on your attitude. But it does extract more caffeine from the beans even my decaf beans made coffee to caffeinated for me. It also extracted some other stuff from the beans my espresso maker doesn’t having a totally different effect on that Ididn’t like.I recommend trying cold brew before getting into making it yourself but my coffee shop doesn’t have decaf cold brew so I had to buy this to see for myself. If you like cold brew this is a great way to go. Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “Purchased this for my husband for iced tea as buying bottles was getting expensive. This is a sturdy jar, made with thick heavy glass. The spigot attaches easily and does NOT drip. Being glass, it doesn’t retain any odor from whatever is stored in it. The strainer works well for coffee, tea and even fresh fruit if you are having a gathering and just want flavored water. We put this on the middle rack in the fridge and the spigot easily clears the door, so it doesn’t have to be moved except to clean and refill. The little chalkboard label is an adorable bonus which I wasn’t expecting.”
Customer Review: “I bought this so that I could make iced tea at home. I usually add a little bit of cool water to the bottom of it and then boil my tea and an electric kettle. I then add the hot tea directly to the container. It works great and it will hold the tea for a couple weeks before it gets bad. It fits well in the refrigerator and doesn’t take up too much space. I don’t know that I would want much larger a size due to the weight on the glass shelves of the refrigerator. It does seem to be pretty durable and I usually hand wash it and it does fine. I just make sure that I run some water and soapy water through the spigot part. Definitely a good value for what you’re getting. I wanted to go with glass so that I didn’t have hot tea going into plastic and potentially releasing PFAS. Metal top lid can be a little tricky to get aligned, but there’s no need to necessarily over tighten it. I’ve actually come to really like the Zulay products because they are of a good quality.”

Q: Is the Logan Glass Cold Brew Coffee Maker dishwasher safe?
A: Most glass pitchers are dishwasher safe, but it’s recommended to hand wash the filters and lids to prolong their lifespan and prevent damage.
Q: Can I use the Logan Glass Cold Brew Coffee Maker for tea as well?
A: Yes, many Logan Glass cold brew makers with fine mesh filters are suitable for brewing iced tea and other cold infusions, providing versatility.
Q: How do I clean the filter to prevent clogging?
A: Rinse the filter immediately after use to remove coffee grounds. For thorough cleaning, soak in warm water with vinegar or mild soap, then scrub gently with a brush to clear residue.
Q: What grind size should I use for cold brew coffee?
A: Use a coarse to medium-coarse grind to prevent over-extraction and minimize sediment. Finer grinds can clog the filter and produce bitter flavors.
