Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “This is a great pot for making coffee, hot cocoa, boiling water (it will do a rolling boil for approximately 30 seconds before shutting off), popcorn, and even cooking or warming up small amounts of food. Works great without issues or complications and automatically shuts off after completing the desired cycle. Its very simple to just plug in, set it to either drink, eat, or pop and then press start. It is essentially noise free (except for hearing the boiling water). This is a great product and combines many functions into one easy to use cooker/kettle. This is a perfect electric alternative to a jetboil, or can reduce your kitchen appliances down to just one item for many tasks.Highly recommend this Kettle Pot. You will not be disappointed.”
Customer Review: “As a vine reviewer I write/type a lot of reviews…and mostly stopped reviewing my purchases because of the extra workbut sometimes something GREAT comes along that you feel it’s worth your time to help othersfirstly I feel you should always tell folks HOW you’ll use something – for me, I will only ‘normally use’ this for heating up water for tea my normal routine was get up, start the pot, usually prep the tea bags…go back to work – hear the pot click off (or MISS THAT) and get up, pour the hot water – set timer for 5 mins to remember to GET TEA My problem was that I’d be working during this and just mentally ‘forget’ – because I’m working this cup did NOT ‘solve’ the ‘forgetting/leaving’ problem – in fact this has no ‘end noise’ at all – just a lack of boiling noise subsiding – my only critique (FOR ME and my usage) is this should make some noise indicator of ‘done’ because the pot was full of water it was always brought to temp ‘clean’ – but with this I can put bags in before the boil – even ‘prep’ the cup for later use by having water and tea ‘ready’ for just a power on cycle while I have brought the pot into the office for meetings or tele-conferences – this is much smaller/easier I have never popped popcorn in it – and never will – very likely never cook food in it either (only if during a power outage or some other emergency) what I don’t like: I don’t like the cord…it’s too thick and rigid – it becomes an anchor when trying to use the cup without unplugging – and if you DO unplug you should unplug both sides as now you’ve got ‘exposed’ electrical with water involved – and the cord doesn’t pull out that easily from either end – it’s only 500 watts but the cord is sized bigger than most 1850 watt heaters it’s long enough for me to keep plugged in and near my reverse osmosis water fixture it’s small and easy enough to grab a water bottle, this, and some tea bags and take into the office (I’m sure you’re thinking I could leave it in there – but nights/weekends I like tea too – and I need good reasons to get up from the chair while working – something my back and carpal tunnel telling me I should have done in the past too, so a few minutes of movement is always welcomed) I did get the coffee press style – as I debated trying loose leaf teas again – stopped because it always felt ‘too fiddly’ where bags are just stupidly convenient/easy – but loose was nice when you wished to strengthen or weaken your tea – bags are more limited there) my bottom is getting ‘oxidation’ marks – stainless is basically nickel, chromium, and steel – but still can/will oxidize if the passivation layer is removed and bare metal is exposed – and bubble cavitation when boiling causes this – and where we live there’s so much hard water that everything eventually turns white with calcium powder the settings are: 1, off after reaching boil temp (great for tea) 2, cook (believe it heats to boil then switches to warm) 3, pop (believe it stays on high until you turn it off) I’ll likely never use the lid for anything other than keeping heat in – it’s got a ‘sip through’ design – but this is an ALL metal cup with some wetsuit material (insulation) wrapped around it – there’s still some very hot metal your lips can touch between lid and insul – also someone else complained in review that it’s not the best at sippy cup either all I didn’t like about the lids was because of my usage (boiling tea) – condensation occurring on the underside is actually ‘brown’ (stained my dish drainer) – because of ME – it’s because i’m boiling the tea – but the lid does condensate liquids and it’s a significant amount and its HOT I don’t like the power button – it’s hard to feel – I glued on a rubber dome which makes finding it easier (like the little nub on your F and J keyboard keys – the button sits flush and is a bit hard to tactile feel when running your finger because most of the bottom is textured and nubby) I don’t like that it doesn’t enunciate that it’s DONE – it’s more for active cooking vs passive cooking I like that the french press is removable – when I first got it I thought it couldn’t come out and the lid would permanently have the french press attachment – but nope you can unscrew the bottom and remove it – nice feature for me, and tea it’s been nice – why: because I can boil the tea in the pot (I know they say not to do that, can make the tea bitter – that bitterness feeds my bitter soul) – this saves me the 3-5 minute ‘steeping time’ – but really wish the ‘done’ was a beep and not just powering down and boiling noise subsiding – that’s what timers are for – this has made my life and tea a bit easier (and why don’t I boil the tea in the big pot? well it’s ‘big’ – hard to clean inside – and because it’s a big heat plate has a ‘min’ amount of water that needs to be kept inside — whereas with this its PER CUP for each use – and no left over tea, or diluted amount (or too strong, if that’s even possible) other gripe: the handle isn’t great…it’s just a strap…and when dealing with HOT BOILING LIQUIDS it’s usually best to have good handles and firm/rigid control of things…this is a little floppy and with that cord anchor becomes a smidge less easy than I imagined it would be in my head”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “This French press produces enough beverage to comfortably fill a standard mug, or fill a standard 6oz coffee cup about 1 1/2 times. I got this French press to brew ground cacao, which it does very well. I got this to use at work, but I also got the more expensive (and nearly identical) Bodum press to use at home. If I had to keep just one of the two it would be this one. The materials seem to be the same, and the designs are very similar. The glass on this is totally clear, whereas the Bodum’s glass has writing all over it, which is not as elegant. The black plastic on the Bodum seems to attract the fats from the cacao more than the plastic on this model. At any rate the Bodum seems harder to clean. On both models the plastic can be separated from the glass, for more thorough cleaning; both models are microwaveable (without the press top, of course); and both models have what looks like identical press/strainer disks. I really can’t see any reason to buy the Bodum over this model, which is $2 cheaper and as good or better than the Bodum. It’s an excellent French press.”
Customer Review: “This French Press coffee maker is the best one I ever had. It is beautiful and excellent quality. I am writing review now, 3 years after I purchased it. Every morning I use it I feel guilty I didn’t share publicly my satisfaction with this product. When I got it it appeared flimsy and delicate because it doesn’t have the ring around the glass as others do (what is a beauty of its clean design). I was convinced that it will not last long, but this little French Press proved to be the sturdiest one I ever had. I LOVE IT. It is easy to clean, and the metal mesh is in great shape with super filtration after 3 years of constant use. As a matter of fact I ordered today one more for my frequent camping trips. I am giving this product shiny 5 stars.”

Customer Review: “THIS WAS FANTASTIC AS IT IS SO EASY TO USE DOESN’T REQUIRE ELECTRICITY AND IS GUARANTEED TO MAKE DELICIOUS COFFEE TO YOUR SPECIFICATIONS. IT HOLDS FOUR CUPS AND HAS A SIMPLE DESIGN. THOUGH VERY EFFICIENT IT IS ALSO BEAUTIFUL. THE STRENGTH OF THE DESIGN IS AMAZING AND IT CAN BE DIASSEMBLED FOR CLEANING. I DO FIRST BOIL THE WATER FOR THE COFFEE IN A TEA KETTLE ON THE STOVE THEN BY FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS YOUR COFFEE SHOULD COME OUT TO THE STRENGTH YOU PREFER. IT IS EASY TO CLEAN WITH A LIQUID DISH SOAP AND WARM WATER. COFFEE MAKERS CAN BURN OUT AND I FELT THIS WAS THE BETTER VALUE. THANK YOU SO MUCH.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “This is the French press. I used the regular ones with the mesh screen filter, they work OK. Then tried the ESPRO, the dual screen and silicone seal make your coffee 100% better, by simply preventing the fine grounds from getting into your drink. French press taste, none of the grit. It looks great, easy to clean, easy to use. I use a scale to weigh the water and grounds. There is a line inside the glass to show the fill height, there is a small arrow on the lid to align the pouring screen window. I no longer use my Mochamaster drip coffee maker. If ESPRO came out with an updated model for 2026, and the handle was improved a bit less flimsy, and the lid orientation arrow was a bit easier to see, I’d buy a new one! Be careful with the glass in the dishwasher it’s fragile!!”
Customer Review: “Double Micro-Filter for a grit free brew works almost too good. I kinda like a little bit of sediment in my coffee for a more robust flavor. I guess that’s good for those of you that don’t. I like how easily it cleans up and it does make a very good cup of coffee. I went with the stainless model as I read that it comes with a thicker, more durable carafe that also has better heat retention.”

Customer Review: “The glass is a bit thinner than I expected, which makes me want to be careful setting it down on hard surfaces. That said, the double mesh filter does a great job keeping the grounds out of the cup and I haven’t noticed much grit in my coffee. The capacity is enough for a couple of people easily. The extra filters included are a really thoughtful add. I bought paper filters also since that’s what I’m used to. Cleanup is quick and easy since all the parts come apart for rinsing. I’m pretty happy with it overall. The only ongoing concern is being careful with the glass and the lid is plastic, so you are basically drinking hot microplastic.”
Customer Review: “🔮 Vine find,🕯taxed at filing, 🌘 no spell veils what I say…I have a smaller French press that only holds 12oz, which means constant refills during tea parties with my kids. They’re 5, 13, and 15 and they still ask to have tea parties with me, and I absolutely treasure it 🥹. This bigger press is perfect because with the tiny Japanese cups we use, one brew lasts the whole tea party. No more running back and forth to make more. The copper color is beautiful and the whole thing feels sturdy and well made. It comes with extra filters and adds a fancy little touch to our gathering. It’s become part of the memory‑making, and I love that. For something so simple, it makes our time together feel even more special 🫖💕.”

Complete Buying Guide for Mini French Press Coffee Maker
Essential Factors We Consider
When choosing a mini French press coffee maker, consider the size and capacity first: how many cups do you want to brew at once? Material quality is vital too—borosilicate glass offers heat resistance and clarity, while stainless steel provides durability and insulation. Filtration systems vary; multi-layer filters reduce sediment for a cleaner cup. Portability matters if you travel often, so look for lightweight and compact designs. Ease of cleaning is also important, as some models have removable parts or dishwasher-safe components.
Budget Planning
Mini French press coffee makers come in a wide price range. Basic glass models with plastic frames are affordable and suitable for casual users. Mid-range options often feature better materials or enhanced filtration. Premium models may include insulating walls, multiple filters, or electric boil-and-brew functions. Decide what features matter most within your budget, balancing durability, size, and design to get the best value.
Final Thoughts
A mini French press coffee maker is a fantastic way to enjoy fresh, full-bodied coffee without bulky equipment. Whether you’re at home, at work, or on the road, these compact brewers deliver rich flavor in small batches. Prioritize the features that suit your lifestyle—capacity, portability, filtration, or insulation—to find your perfect match. With proper care, your mini French press will provide delicious coffee for years to come.
